AD| We’re in a heatwave so there has never been a more perfect time for ice cream – or frozen desserts in general! The @Ninja UK CREAMi is a summer essential. You can make sorbet, gelato, frappes, slushis and more. This is my recipe for a banana, honey & tahini filled with delicious nuggets of ginger biscuit crumbled through. It’s the perfect summer desert, and so unbelievably easy to make. I can’t wait to experiment more with the Ninja CREAMi, stay tuned for more ice cream recipes! Ingredients: 5 ripe bananas 2 tsp honey 3 tbsp tahini 1 tbsp milk 4-5 ginger biscuits Method: Finely chop the bananas and mush them down into a CREAMi pot, pour over the honey, tahini and milk and put in the freezer for 24 hours. Once frozen solid, put the lid on and pop into the Ninja CREAMi machine and select sorbet mode. The machine does all the work for you and terms the banana tahini honey mixture into a lovely ice cream. Take the lid off and create a 4 cm hole in the ice cream mixture and fill this with your crushed ginger biscuits. Put the lid back on, back into the machine and select mix in mode. And there you have your very very delicious, very easy ice cream! I like to top it with more honey and more crushed ginger biscuits, enjoy!
